#745 - PSALMS 15:1-3 // PROVERBS 15:28

Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill. Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. Psalms 15:1-3

The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things. Proverbs 15:28

Heavenly Father, I worship you for making it clear to me those who may worship you in your sanctuary. I thank you for making it plain those who can enter your presence. It is those who refuse to gossip. I worship you for not having anything to do with unrighteousness. You are pure. You are holy. You are blameless. You will have nothing to do with those who use those words to harm others; those who use their words to tear down others. Thank you for Jesus who makes it possible for me to be in your presence despite my unrighteousness. Thank you Jesus. I praise your name,

Lord, help me to consider my words before speaking. Help me to ponder. Help me to think through the consequences of the words I choose to use. Help me to use words that uplift, heal, help, and encourage. Help me not to speak hastily for rarely will anything good ever come from me not thinking before I speak. I pray all these thing in Jesus name, Amen.
