I want to grow in my passion for praying for others.

INTERCESSION.

I want to pray for others with all the faith that I have, lending all the emotion I have, using all the desperation I have that God would unleash all the power He has on their situation.

I want to pray for others like I’d want others to pray for me. I want to pray for others as if my prayers could make all the difference. I want to pray for others with a greater intensity than I pray for even myself.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people… 1 Timothy 2:1

With all the comfort, favor, grace, blessing, healing, peace, and security that God has been kind to pour out on my life, it would be self-centered and self-serving not to use the strength that comes from all those gifts and pour it into passionately praying for others.

God did not give me an abundance of faith to only believe Him for what He could do for me, God gave me an abundance of faith so I can believe Him, petition Him, and cry out to Him for what I’m confident He can do for others.
