#737 - PSALMS 7:8 // PROVERBS 7:25-27
The Lord judges the peoples; judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me. Psalms 7:8
Let not your heart turn aside to her ways; do not stray into her paths, for many a victim has she laid low, and all her slain are a mighty throng. Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the chambers of death. Proverbs 7:25-27
Heavenly Father, you are the Judge. You will Judge. You will have the last word and how the wicked will be punished. You will be the one to ultimately separate the sheep from the goats. Vengeance is yours. Lord help me to remember this when I want to bring judgement on someone else’s life. You are a good, perfect, and just Judge. Help me Lord to be more concerned with how you will judge me than how you will judge others. Help me to care more about my integrity than the integrity of others. Help me to focus on removing the plank in my eye before I worry about the speck in someone else’s eye. Help me to be more angry at my sin than the sins of others. Help me to be more enraged with my sin than the sins of others. Help ME to be holy as you are holy.
I praise and worship you Lord for the warnings in the book of Proverbs about the adulteress woman. These are stern warnings that I need to pay attention to. Lord Jesus, by the power of your Holy Spirit, help me not to stray! Help me not to be enticed by any women either in-person or online. Keep my eyes fixed on you. Give me a very strong understanding and awareness of the “chambers of death” that would await me if I stray. Hold me fast Heavenly Father, hold me fast.
I love you. I trust you. I magnify your name. I pray all of this in Jesus name, Amen.
