#738 - PSALMS 8:3-4 // PROVERBS 8:10-11

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Psalms 8:3-4

Take my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her. Proverbs 8:10-11

Heavenly Father, I praise and magnify your name for being mindful of me. I praise you for seeing me, knowing me, caring for me, and thinking about me. There is so much security, hope, joy, and gladness in knowing that the God of all creating is mindful of me! How can I allow the circumstances of this world bring down my countenance when you are thinking about how to care for me? I love you Lord and I praise your name, and I rest in your mindfulness of me!

Lord help me to pursue, look for, position myself to receive and gain wisdom more than financial prosperity. Help me to see that wisdom if far more valuable. Help me in the course of my lifetime pursue the things that have the most value in your eyes and not in the eyes of the world. Give me wisdom Lord. Give me wisdom. Far beyond my years, far beyond my experience, far beyond what I deserve to understand and perceive. Give me wisdom so that I can glorify your name with my life in a greater measure. So I can preach deeply. So I can lead effectively. So I can counsel rightly. So I can navigate the circumstances of this world shrewdly. As I continue to read the Proverbs each day, give me the spiritual eyes to see the wisdom you have for me. I pray all of this in Jesus name, Amen.
